The Cutter
The Cutter is a tarot-like allegorical figure that reveals its self, showing us what is occult within. This raw aperture alludes to Christian sacrifice and anatomical procedures, underlining the religious and anatomical in the wound. Self-inflicted it becomes a transgressive act of the body to subvert its passivity and re-enact the primordial opening through which sacrifice and birth is experienced.
