This is my first linocut, a small image of the Virgin Mary giving birth to Christ. I made it over the Christmas and used it as a Christmas card, after all this event is precisely what the celebration is all about, despite the lack of this kind of representations. The dove and the eye represent God and the holly spirit, which converge in the uterus, 'making' Jesus.
It is an edition of a 100, image size 10 x 15cm, printed with dark red and gold.
