Here is the video for the performance I did in Madrid titled Abertura (Opening), filmed by my great friend Gabriela Jaime. It was part of the exhibition Sexo Implicito Explicito (Implicit Explicit Sex) in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Complutense University of Madrid (3rd November 2011).
This was my first performance after the MA and outside of Camberwell College. Finally the video is here to show! Opening tries to emphasise in equal measure the religious and medical inscribbed in the wound and roots this symbolism in the female body.
